The Michigan Evans Scholars recently participated in a community park cleanup. Our Scholars volunteered to help with the cleanliness and landscape of a nearby park for the city of Ann Arbor Department of Parks and Recreation. The Michigan Scholars recently adopted Douglas Park, located adjacent to the Michigan Evans Scholarship House. Scholars spent the morning and afternoon gardening and beautifying the grounds of Douglas Park by weeding, picking up trash and planting flowers.
Thank you to everyone who lent a helping hand, especially the VP of New Scholars, VP of Administration, and our New Scholar class.
Keep up with our scholars' community activities on our website and join us by supporting our Blood Battle blood drive on Friday, November 2nd!
